A while ago we posted a photo on our Facebook page of some killer shoes...made on a 3D printer! And the hype hasn't stopped yet! 3D printing is going bananas (not literally...although, I HAVE actually heard about 3D printing meat...too weird to think about yet!)

3D Printing

Now, 3D printing is not just for fancy people or big wigs! There are plenty of websites offering 3D printing services for every day consumers.

For example, Shapeways, lets you look through a 3D printed gallery OR you can upload your own 3D models to be printed.

Sculpteo goes one step further by allowing you to open your own shop (like an Etsy shop) to sell your 3D products.

Do you have a hard-to-buy-for person on your gift list? Any 3D printed item would be a unique gift idea for them this year.

Try shopping the products at Continuum Fashion, for example. 3D printed bracelets, dresses, shoes, and yes...bikinis!

i.materialise has everything from jewelry, to toys, art, and more! Products come in a range of materials from titanium, bronze, gold and stainless steel.

Although we, at Image3D, may not be ready to take the next step to 3D printed food, we are pretty psyched about all the amazing 3D printed things out there! Follow some of our favorites on our "The World Of 3D Printing" board on Pinterest.
