You know you have a good Mother's Day gift when your mom can't stop crying happy tears enough to see the gift.
That is exactly what happened when Melinda gave her mom the customized RetroViewer that she made. But, she didn't just hand it over....she mixed it in with a batch of old-school View-Master reels to get the nostalgia going first with a good surprise at the end!
Melinda told us...
"I purchased a reel for my mom for Mother's Day. My reel had pictures of my brother and I when we were little. (My brother passed away when he was just 16.) I purchased some other reels at the store and put "the special" reel in with them. So when she opened the present, she saw the view master and set of reels and thought it was just reminiscing of when we played with them as kids. So I put a reel in the view master and she giggled at the animals. Then I put in "the special" reel. She let out a loud holler! She said she had to look at the reel again because she couldn't see the pictures for the tears! She viewed it several more times in fact! It was PRICELESS!!!
